doin good. been busy as hell so my life hasn't changed. btw, my mom's finches hatched some new babies. she said she'd being willing to give danny's bird a partner as long as he's takin good care of the first guy. maybe you can use that offer as incentive to straighten him up a lil for the time being.

That's not a bad idea. First, I think, we will build a bigger cage......the one he's got now is barely big enough.

Tired... schedule at work is finally starting to become more regulated, and the job is great. I've never had a better job, ever in my life. This is as good as it's gotten, and it's only getting better. I haven't had a job that I woke up early (and HAPPILY) for since I was doing recruiting and giving people jobs like this. The sense of accomplishment is incredible. Leaving at the end of every day, knowing I gave my all & that it was appreciated, is invaluable.

Training again, been doing a lot of grappling and explosive striking... the object is to wind myself and sweat the fat off for the next 2 months, because I plan on competing in King Of The Cage in June. I also just found out that right around the time I'm moving (April 2nd), I'm going to be receiving press credentials to UFC 47. Finding out that I was going to be cageside for Tito and Chuck last night was even more incredible than my job has been so far.

My mother is not doing well at all, but she's doing better than she has been in the last couple of weeks. We've been spending more and more time together, despite how far apart we've been over the last couple of years due to her problems. She's very very close to death, and actually died once on the table, only to be revived. Her liver is failing and they aren't giving her long. Through this, I've found it in myself to appreciate the time I have left with my mother for what it is. No more fighting, not any harsh feelings or anything... I know she's made mistakes, and no one's mother is the best, but she's mine, and that's what makes her special to me.

Me and my girlfriend are fast approaching our 6th month together. I'm happier with her than I've ever been with anyone ever, which has been a hard realization to make. The girl I was with for so long... 7 years... it's taken a long time to get over her and the damages she's done, but I'd like to think that with a girl like this in the picture, I'm lookin forward and never lookin back again. I like the feeling, but there's a lot to let go.

****in a, I talk a lot. I'm done for now.
