i've always loved defense, so not whitaker. spinks can let off some nice combos from time to time. it is w/out question, john "the quiet man" ruiz.

man how could you say brewster? he is fun to watch. o like to see how much punshishment he can take before he comes back with his power combos. mitchell is not boring, he is just so good, he dominates his fights. u should replace him with spinks

They say the rule is "Styles make fights". I haven't seen that to be true with John Ruiz. :(

Feed JMMarquez with another counter-puncher, Barrera with a runner (like that Gainer that showed up in the JMM fight :p )...excellent ring technicians turned BORING fighters in a flash! "Styles makes fights!" indeed. Well, as for John Ruiz he's an exception...he's consistently boring. Now, where's that remote control... ;)

Yeah, just because you dislike a certain fighter, that doesn't automatically mean he's boring. Geez, what fights have you been watching. Haters!

I was told Ruiz falls asleep whenever he looks at himself in the mirror, so, he doesn't watch tapes of his fights. Could be lethal! He could bore himself to death!!! :D Nobody said that?! Ever?! So, ok...I made it up... :(

I just started watching boxing a year ago, so I would say most boring fighter is the boxer I saw yesterday named Booker. He didn't try to fight back.

Who is tito? I have heard of this name so much...Tito. But I have never seen how this person looks or boxes. His name is interesting. Is he a good boxer? Is a good guy?

I can tell you do not like Ruiz. I have only seen Ruiz fight once ever. I saw a replay on the television, he fought against Rahman. It was very boring to watch. I didn't even watch the entire fight. I only saw about two rounds. It was very boring. I will give you great Karma for what you wrote. I hope someone will take away his championship belt soon.

Depends what you class as boring, I enjoy a 12 round fight that resembles a chess match, I admire skilled fighters, but on the other hand i like to see a good old tear up, but a tear up isnt boxing its a fight, I like the sweet science of boxing hit dont get hit. I ask you how can any fighter be boring?

I shouldn't have used the word boring. You are correct, boxing really is never boring. It is a science like you said. What I meant to say was I did not find the Ruiz fight interesting to watch. It was not interesting for me because I didn't care which fighter would win, Ruiz or Rahman, I did not know who they were. The constant hugging looked strange to me, and it almost didn't look like boxing anymore because of all the hugging.

I am certain if I rooted for either fighter, the fight would have become interesting to me. If I can root for someone, boxing then will always be interesting to me, even if there is hugging, because I need my favorite fighter to win always.

I don't play much chess, but last time I checked, hugging does not a chess match make. And, a chess match might cause boredom, but boredom doesn't make a chess match. ;)

I remember a few months back when the rumor was that George Foreman was coming out of retirement, Don King said he was offering Foreman 20 mil to fight the Ruiz/Oquendo winner.

John Ruiz vs. George Foreman 2004. Wow. I just couldn't pay for that. It's too close to softcore gay **** for me. Two nearly-naked men embracing for 36 minutes...boring would just be one word for this fight.

Felix "Tito" Trinidad was a great fighter and I'm very anxious to see him fight Pig Mayorga now that he's coming out of retirement. Tito has alot of skill and power and a big, bad attitude to match it. :D
