"A small town doctor was famous in the area for always catching large fish.

One day while he was on one of his frequent fishing trips he got a call that a woman at a neighboring farm was giving birth. He rushed to her aid and delivered a healthy baby boy.

The farmer had nothing to weigh the baby with so the doctor used his fishing scales. The baby weighed 32 lb. 10 oz"

^^^ Anybody get that? Am I stupid for not getting it or is it really that bad?

"When I was a mother's helper, the mom of the family I worked for sat with her three oldest children and watched a PBS special showing the birth of a baby. The mom thought it would be a good starting point for answering questions about the facts of life.

As her five-year-old studied the baby coming out of the birth canal, he asked, "Mom, does that hurt?"

"Oh, yes, it does," she said, remembering her difficult deliveries.

"Wow," he continued in awe, "does it hurt the mother too?""

Poor lad, maybe next time. I'm sure you'll get your haggis and chips at some point.

Of course it is.
Theres many ways of having Haggis but if you like eating from your local chip shop then a chippy haggis supper might be your best bet at a first try. They deep fry it in batter, its decent sized and shaped like a rectangle or square.

Sometimes its presented like black pudding.

The traditional way is with potatoes. Haggis, neeps and tatties.

Then theres Haggis balls or you can have a Haggis pie like a steak pie. Asda has a great Haggis & Steak pie in their fresh range.

I can't mind the brand name though, its a yellow cardboard label on the packet.
