Why would you go through all that if you have mount?

It depends if its no gi or gi for me. I personally only take mount for the points. When i get the points i usually switch to knee to belly.

If you have the gi on you can do all kinds of gi chokes and its easier to hold.

triangle from mount = awesome

I have won a couple matches in tournaments & of course @ the academy by triangle from the mount. It is a really great move and very simple.
