I don't question the decison, because from what I understand it was close enough to go ethier way without being bogus. What I am upset about was Hermes being touched by Larry Landless and thus thinking Larry was stopping the fight after he rocked Thomson. Thats where Hermes got screwed

Yves is one of my 2 favorite lightweights, and if he can keep it standing he has a chance. Although his ground game has improved immensely, I think Hermes will win a unanimous decision.

And what is with the poster? You'd think they were fighting for the LW title or sumfin.

UFC is promoting all fights on the main card now. they made that one, along with tito vs chuck, arlovski vs sylvia, cabbage vs kyle, lytle vs tiki, etc etc.

which in turn means that now its not tito ortiz all over the place. good move imo. they need to market their fighters and they are doing just that.

Arlovski can't be Russian. He's too ripped. No Russians are ripped. Not Fedor, not Aleksander, not Matyushenko, and not Igor (except for his 2H2H fight against dirty Bob).

Karelin was 285 with less then 5% body fat. that is pretty ****ing ripped. In MMA you are correct when it comes to top tier russians. They need to keep thier winter weight up for 9 monthes of the year.
