View Full Version : My ****ing house!(money pit)
I bought a brand new house in 11/01, and the pile of **** is crumbling before my very eyes. A water pipe in the master bathroom is leaking, and there are water stains on my living room ceiling. My downstairs furnace is not working for some unknown reason, and my clan and I are freezing balls. Now I've got to shell out all the dough to get this **** fixed because my 2 year unlimited warranty ended last November. I should've stayed in an apartment.
**** FOX RIDGE HOMES
**** DON WOOD PLUMBING
**** MICHAEL J. FRICK HEATING AND AIR
YOU ALL ****ING SUCK AT YOUR JOBS

Is it gas or electric?
**** if I know. I'm about as mechanically inclined as a toothpick.
Curly Howard 02-16-2004, 07:40 PM I see
I wish you could see my furnace and help me fix it.
Curly Howard 02-16-2004, 07:59 PM I helped Bzob with his online.
Curly Howard 02-16-2004, 08:00 PM My neighbor used to live in a trailer. They had to pop start theirs every year.
My heat upstairs is working, but not downstairs. I have no idea why, or what to look for.
I just went outside and checked it out. I think it's gas. It looks like it's working, there's 2 flames in it. I can feel a little heat, but not much coming from the vents.
Curly Howard 02-16-2004, 08:30 PM call me if you can and i'll walk through it with you
I just tried calling. You denied my call like Shaq denying a midgets jumpshot.
Curly Howard 02-16-2004, 09:36 PM you have a PM

Feel proud. This description is more than I would have ever been able to give. I don't even know where to look for a flame. I don't think I have ever really looked at a furnace before for more than 2 seconds as I walk by it.
Curly Howard 02-16-2004, 11:18 PM We got it fixed
Now Zen is getting mad sex for being a handy man

Allison 02-17-2004, 08:58 AM You built a new home and got a two year warranty on it!?
Allison 02-17-2004, 09:04 AM Wow, I just checked and that's pretty much standard. You plan to pay on a home for 30 years and major things like heating and cooling systems only get covered for the first two.

Yeah, ripoff, isn't it? They then sell you a warranty and BAM! that's how they get even richer! We bought a warranty when we bought our home and it was 18 yrs old already......it paid for itself when the stove went out. They're new.....I deserve it after I ruined two Holiday dinners because of that damn stove. And because it was a stove/microwave unit, they had to replace both!! yay!:lol1:
