Has anyone played Suikoden 2? Does anyone know the benefit of loading your Suikoden 1 save when starting Suikoden 2?

And yes I beat Suikoden 1 and used the same memory to put it into Suikoden II.

You know I really have no idea, because I haven't played it without the Suikoden 1 memory, so I do not kow the difference, I am sure they say stuff that you did in the first Suikoden and talk about other characters from Suikoden if you got them or not.
