First time i saw him was UFC 94 but he did look good!! Something a little different! Looks like he loves a fight.

Bad points at the moment are the fact that he is so clearly still green, makes a few mistakes and he might not have much knockout power! He hit Stephan Bonner with some clean shots but couldnt finish!..

I m personally looking forward to seeing his career unfold! Maybe something special!

Jon Jones has lightyears of work to do. Any Top 20 fighter would have finished him after he blew all of his steam in the first round. I don't know why Stephan Bonnar couldn't. That being said, Jones needs to get used to being hit. He closes his eyes too much.

main thing he needs to worry about is cardio, he seems to have the natural athleticism to pick up the other parts of the game like striking.

based on a few interviews i've seen from him, he's a humble & level-headed dude for 21years. he realizes what his weaknesses are.

kid has a bright future in the UFC

You just have to remember, he's been training to fight for a YEAR. His cardio and abilty to take a hit just won't be there yet.

<------------------ Not afraid to get hit. There are tough people and there are athletes, Jon Jones is just an athlete.

I'm not afraid to get hit either, as he probably isn't. He just isn't used to it. It happens to a lot of grapplers. Jacare froze up when he got hit during the MWGP too.

Exactly. Why hype someone as a fighter if they're afraid to get hit? Hype him for what he is, an impressive athlete.

Gusmao hit him with a flush shot in their fight, Jones didn't back down or go into retreat mode into that fight

i think its too early to already declare that "he's afraid to get hit"

i'm not saying he is or isn't, but i don't think thats something you can call by just watching one or two fights.
