It was an accidental shooting, not a game, afterall. Which relieves me to some extent. and the boy is a junior not a freshman...and he's 16. It's amazing how facts can be misconstrued via the gossip chain.

He is still alive and they think he might make it afterall, but his face was half blown off and they don't know the extent of any brain injury/damage.

Every year our school loses at least two kids....usually to car accidents. We knew one of the kids last year that died. It's hard to see them die so young.
