Did you guys see that **** on the 24/7 ripoff? He would sink down to the ocean floor and pick up a big ass rock and run on the floor of the ocean for as long as he could until he needed to go to the surface and gasp for air. That looks like a pretty intense workout since you can't breathe when you are doing the work. Said it was way more effective than sprinting for your anaerobic workout.
I've never seen anything like that before.

Is that why he looks soft everytime I see him...I'm not an MMA fan but I did check out the Penn-Serra fight on ****E and to be honest I don't see what the hype is about. The first fight was pretty boring to be honest. UFC hypes up every card as there greatest card ever and it's becoming a total joke.

He has an amazing skill set. That fight that you saw isn't really a good example of how good he is. He went through a phase where he was kinda lazy with training and that's why he looked kinda chubby. He fights at LW now which is much more suited to his frame although he is fighting St. Pierre at WW in a rematch. A focused and in shape BJ Penn is near impossible to beat. He earned his black belt in Brazilian ju jitzu in just a year from the Gracie academy which is amazing and unheard of.
You said you saw the Penn vs. Serra fight? I've never seen that one but that isn't who he is rematching. Are you sure you didn't see the first Penn vs. St. Pierre fight? I thought that was a good fight but if you don't like ground fighting then I can see why you didn't like it.
I agree with you on the "biggest fight in MMA history" crap. :lol1: That **** is totally out of hand. My roommate and I were laughing about that a few weeks ago. It's really stupid.

I meant St. Pierre like I said not an MMA fan. I just wanted to see what the hype was about. When they said it was Hagler-Hearns I laughed but I thought ok I 'll see what they hype is a about and well I laughed even harder after watching the first fight.

 Not even close. They're just trying to hype that ****. It is nothing like Hagler vs. Hearns. That is truly one of the (if not the) most bad ass fight(s) I have seen to this day.
It's kinda funny how a lot of MMA guys always slam boxing saying it's a dying sport and then they go and compare their match ups to infamous fights in boxing history. I just take it how I see it. I like both MMA and boxing in their own right. I love boxing more but MMA is a close second. That comparison is laughable but I don't think they mean it in the literal sense like the fight itself will be similar. More in terms of the significance in the MMA game right now. You have Penn who is moving up in weight to challenge the bigger guy and both guys are top P4P guys.
You know what I mean.?

We have done this training before at our local pool at the college. We use a 15 pound ball to sink to the bottom (10 feet) and we try to make it across the entire lane. if we get tired we drop the ball, swim for air and swim back down and pick up the ball and continue til we get to the end. We try to go at least a minumum of 6 laps. then finish off we a 20 lap swim.
