Firstly, I'd like to congratulate Mosley on great win against Margarito on Sunday AEDT time. Being a huge Margarito I'm at a loss for words at the way Mosley stopped him in the ninth. Those left hooks, body punching and the final combo that forced ref to stop fight was awesome.

Did Margarito reckon he had this fight won already against Mosley after destroying Cotto last year ??? Given Cotto had beaten Mosley comprehensively??? There could be many reasons as to why Margarito lost.

Mosley is a fighter not be taken lightly at any cost. First time I saw Shane was when he beat Shannon Taylor to a pulp in 2001. Watched both World Title fights against Vernon Forrest in 2002, Winky and Collazo fights. The guy is real quick even in his late 30s and hit hard enough to stop Margs in his tracks which has never happened to him before.

Margarito will come back strong and will learn a lot from this unfortunate loss. And no I'm not jumping off the Margarito bandwagon. Viva Margarito!

good point antonio margarito will come back and props to shane mosley for his great performance ..hopefully margarito goes back and studies the tape and improves his defense and his jab..

Wouldn't say terrible cos the fight could have easily gone either way. Margs should have got nod over Williams. Williams should have granted Margs an immediate rematch to quash all doubts over who won the first fight.

I'm not surprised Mosley won, but I am surprised he won by KO!
Just shows how much of a fighter and how skilled this guy really is.
He was always going to be too quick for Margarito ,and the ability to stop Margarito for the first time in Tony's career shows just how much power he really had behind those punches.

I felt sorry for Tony, seeing him get ko'ed,
but this was 1 of the best fights I've seen.
Totally awesome.
