My two best friends are hardcore atheistic, pisses me off. Was just talking to them about this movie and they were telling me how boring it’s going to be because, “It didn’t really happen, and even if it did then Jesus was just an everyday man and not the son of God.” Felt like ripping his heart out of his chest Indian-Jones-style. Billy Grahm cried when he saw the prescreening, … depends on your faith what you get out of it I guess.

mel gibson personally invited my pastor to watch it with him & get his opinion. rick now HIGHLY recommends it. he actually had 7 entire theaters in orange county completely reserved for church members to see it a day before it's officially released.

Why would that piss you off. If you won the lottery(lottery =heaven, faith, all that stuff) and someone said they thought there was no lottery or that it's going to suck would still want to rip there heart out of there chest(NOT cristianlike BTW)? Why?

If you have a problem with accuracy, or the brutality and truth of this movie, maybe you should stick to Disneyland fictional movies rather than this true documentary-type movie about the son of God that died for you.

I just watched Shrek with the gf last night, it was pretty funny. Being serious now, I want to see the movie because i heard it's very good and interesting.

they imprisoned him for supposedly stirring up trouble by claiming that he was the king of the jews. pilot didn't want to crucify him because he knew that there was no justifiable reason to.

But tony - did jesuas say "pay taxes" or "dont pay taxes?"

he didn't say either of those quotes. from what i recall, people were asking him if it was fair that they were being taxed and should give the money to God instead. he replied by saying to give to caesar what is caesar's but to give to God what is God's.

in other words, continue to tithe but not by cheating the system. numerous passages in the Bible from not only Jesus himself but also paul, peter, james, and john instruct the christian follower to always submit to authorities.
even if they're being treated unfair because God will eventually set everything straight in the end
