View Full Version : Ruiz Injured!! Fight May Off
killallliberals 11-10-2004, 04:58 PM Ruiz had been complaining of pain shooting through is left leg for the past week. He collapsed while doing roadwork in pain. MRI found two ruptured discs in his lower back L-4 and L-5. Stoney is making a decision of whether to pull out.
An athlete can still compete with such an injury. Depends on the severity of the sciatic nerve pain. No matter what he will need extensive rehab and maybe surgery if he does fight. He is risking permanent damage if he does fight.
The bottom line is that unfortunatley this fight is off. That stinks, I couldnt wait to see this. Golota wont fight anyone else.

Or are you just so impressed with the intellect of our President that supporting anyone else would be ridiculous? I am with you war first, **** diplomacy only 1K have died, that aint ****, all waiting a couple more months would have done is myabe exspose Saddam as a liar, get more allies, save young lives, your right, thank god/allah whoever for Bush, where would our country be without him.

lol
I just hate lil ****** liberals and I'm lovin it now that they have to except W for 4 more years. Oh by the way my wife and I are Catholic
Catholics huh, so am I however I am ashamed to admit it. ****ing little kids and then covering it up with money is not my idea of faith.
Again you should be damn proud of our commander in chief, him and his TEAM are incredible, especially his team. I thought it was really cool how in the public eye ROVE/HUGHES and the gang managed to have everyone believe that the stay at home soldier was the war hero and Kerry was this super ***** who would lay down if anyone ever raised it's fist at the US.
Two people come too mind when I think about who threatens the US. OBL and Lil Kim, imagine if Gore was in office and OBL was still running around, you conservatives would have won the election in a landslide based upon the liberals ***** as defense strategies. Again thank god for Bush, without him we would be hiding under a rock with the rest of the liberals.
I am curious to know how old you are and if you enjoy good books like the turner diaries, I may be off base but I don't need a tough ass, uneducated red neck conservative rubbing the election in, it is just too soon.

This is exactly why your party is going to continue to lose in every election.
My party will continue to loose in every election as long as the church or should I say moral values remains above issues like the economy or the war in Iraq.
I may sound harsh in my responses but when you work as hard as I do on campaigns I have a very bitter taste in my mouth. In a way it is good that W. won, now he can create the jobs, balance the budget, create alliances etc.
Forgive me for speaking in anger and saying some stupid things, we can debate why Dems are not going to win elections all day long-but the reasons is simple...moral values-the pollsters missed it, the media missed it and Karl Rove hit the nail on the head.
dempseyfire 11-10-2004, 06:32 PM Why would Ruiz be doing roadwork the week of the fight anyway . . . . ? :) :p

Nearly 10K have been seriously wounded, Had we have waited just a couple more months we would have allies with us, we would have found that inspectors are still not finding ****....more importantly there would be soldiers that have limbs instead of soldiers who don't have limbs, soldiers full of life instead of without life. We are in an unwinnable mess-why didn't we put 250k troops in Afghanistan, thats what I would like to know, what the **** was this misdirection called Iraq all about? Call me and my party idiots all you want but please make some points on why this man should have been reelected....or are you another moral values sheep too?
I made a mistake talking politics, this is a boxing forum, it won't happen again.
MetalVomit 11-10-2004, 06:55 PM so is Golota/Ruiz On or what?
ChrististheAnswer 11-10-2004, 07:07 PM I have looked around on multiple websites and found no mention of this fight being off.
**** me, won't Don King love this news!
If Ruiz loses that fight, for any reason, and then complains it was his back, Don King will insist on a rematch and get it. Once again, Golota will be robbed ala-Byrd.
That's the best scenario for Don.
ejk22 11-10-2004, 07:17 PM Fres Oquendo has been hanging out with Golota at the gym and giving him advice on how to fight Ruiz, hopefully Golota does not take his advice because Oquendo did not fare too well against Ruiz.

Scap - Don't apologize, weve all been there. But, do yourself and everybody else in these forums a big favour. Put "Eyeh8you" on your ignire list, just like most everybody else has done.
Life in the Forums section is much better without him, really.
That way we can stay focused on the Thread.

ya WTF is up with talking ****ing bull**** politics on a boxing forum? I mean there's places for that ****.....
So back to boxing....
So is Ruiz out or what or is this just some bull**** too? Not that I was going to order this sorry excuse of a PPV card anyway.
Invader_Stu 11-10-2004, 07:28 PM I was hoping to place my first fantasy bet on this fight, but it looks like a no-go :( I was going for Ruiz by decision anyways. Galota has retired a few times already hasnt he? I think he's past it.
