that was some seriously ignorant ****
...
but it was kind of funny.
billionaire 01-21-2009, 01:52 AM yea people are overreacting over obama thinking he will change things he never promised in the 1st place they never listened to his speeches in detail about his plans they just hear "hope" and "change" and think he will work for them
Yeah there is another thread about this.
50 is just being real...for once.
I mean the history that has been made here is serious business, but this political messiah crap is ridiculous.
FlaminGuru 01-21-2009, 09:27 AM he seems like a smart man, pretty good communicator.
Had to disagree about his thoughts on OBama
Floyd Sinclair 01-21-2009, 01:40 PM I partially agree with what he said about Obama but what makes Obamas victory so significant is the fact that theres a black president, for black people its gotta be a great feeling...even for white people, they should be happy too. This countrys come along ways, and Im happy for the black race and older blacks who were alive and saw Martin Luther King make his I have a Dream speeech.
In terms of politics, I dont think Obama being the president is really that significant. The presidents power is exaggerated by many and I think that the time period is more significant then who the president is. Clinton was in at the perfect time, had he came along later people might feel different about him. Bush was in at a bad time, but he made his mistakes though. **** Bush.

Yah i see what your saying mac..
But 50 in this video to me, is taking something positive, and making it a negative. Not everyone is rich as **** like 50 is, money over the past year has literally torn my family apart. He doesnt care that half of his entire fanbase is broke, hed rather just slick talk some more... get real 50
On the other hand, rappers like jay z, or diddy, who are just as caked up as 50 is, they are embracing the fact that obama is president... 50 needs to take notes, i honestly was starting to feel like 50 is starting to go hard again with his music, but with that attitude, theres almost no way i am going to support him.
ya digg what im sayin?
supRa 01-23-2009, 02:07 AM man we all know 50 doin it for his album lol...
u know how he is...

It's positive because we have the first Black president, and your right in a sense, 50 didn't even take uch time to address that.
The dirty little secret though is that a president can't really fix the economy, that was what Goldbar was saying. The economy was so prosperous during the Clinton years because the 90's were the era of the rise of the internet and there was an explosion of money created from the new Dot com industry and the computer companies (After all, Congress is in charge of all the money policy and Congress was run by Republicans back then). The economy is bad now because citizens and banks have had bad borrowing and lending practices for years. In a government of the people, the people control the economy.
Recessions usually don't last that long though and it is possible that things may turn around during Obama's first term. If so he'll get credit for it...that will be some good PR for the first Black president.
Well **** when was the last time we had a really "good" President. 50 like sum other stupid ni99as dont care about history being made. Mite be a tad bit jealous. 50's $ prolly hasn't been affected much so he cud careless. Only thing I give him is that he's honest.
