Okay so you can design something to look ugly compared to a normal snake and that's not a freak of nature. Just because something is rare doesn't mean it's a good thing. Aids is rare but I still don't want it.

I didn't say they were designed by man, they were part of the 'design'. There are naturally yellow snakes in the wild. They live in rainforests, where you will find more brown snakes in desert areas. Come on, try to support your further failing argument.

Maybe if I had said, "Albino snakes have been designed by men breeding them" or something like that, then you could take what I said in the direction you did, because see what happens when you assume something? If by "freak of nature", you mean Albino, then it actually is the only snake I can think of that is yellow. (Although not solid)

Gman you are an idiot for calling anything of other than "natural" coloration freak. Albinos do not have a choice of the color or amount of pigmentation on thier system. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but comments are by choice and should be made with respect.

There are many snakes that are "Yellow" in color and are not albino, does that makes them less attractive. Gman, since I'm sure that you are of a different color of skin than myself I guess is ok for me to acll you a freak. Is it?

Changing the topic, my choice will be a super pastel ball phyton, a piebald, or an albino burmese. I might go with the super pastel sice I already have a "Normal" ball phyton and I can cash in some big $$$ out of a clutch of the 2 snakes. Pastel is a dominant trait and from a super the whole clutch will be some level of pastel.

I was pretty hardcore into reptiles for a while.

I had 3 Pythons that i was breeding, a dumeril's monitor and a black and white argentinian tegu.

I was looking into gettin an alboni or a regular burmie (i didn't care either way) but came to the conclusion that when you buy a baby in january and by june the thing is 1 1/2 ft around and 6.5ft long its not a good idea to have in a dorm.

within the first year the typical burmygets about 7' long on avg.

within their life they typically top out between 12 and 18 feet long and (the biggest i've seen in width is about 2ft)

if you handle them and get thme dog tame they are great pets, but when your snake weighs more than you they are kinda hard to keep handling.

Retics are the worlds longest snakes. Some have been reported to be on the 30ft. and a few weeks ago they found one close to 50ft long.

I have a buddy that has a 23ft it takes 3 of us to pick her up.

Carlao -

breeding Ball pythons is actually quite hard. they might be docile and nice as starter snakes but they are also the most tempramental and easily frightened. that leands to difficult breeding.

also when breeding snakes in general you are unlikely to get a 1 on 1 mating going on. for best results and highest likelyhood of success (not birth but just getting the snake pregnant) a minimum of a 3 female to 2 male ratio is best

the men will fight (neither will die) its like they sword fight with their tails the winner remains dominant and gets to mate.




as for retics

Carlao and I both know this guy (he works at the local reptile store) who breeds super tiger and tiger retics and sells the babies for an avg 3000 a head.

i used to have a pic of a 28 foot retic. i guess they fed him pigs.

I made the mistake of saying yellow instead of "Albino" in one post and now all of you thing that I'm an dumb enough to think that all yellow snakes are albino. God dammit some of you people are ****ing sad. P.S. call any thing a freak of nature that you want.

5 of my 10 prisoners escaped! i accidently kicked over the lid to the prison and 5 of em got out while i was on the ****ter. PLUS the prison was on the floor so they had all-access!
