"Skeleton Diver" from "Castlevania: Curse of Darkness". There's nothing I like more than skeletons, except for the Great White Shark. Add the two together, and it's totally badass.

Gotta shout out Streets of Rage 2 wit Mr X and his tommy gun. And Shao Khan on MKII was tough if you didn't have someone wit a sharp jump kick.

You never fail to get me thinkin old school wit these threads homey. I had a ***** of a time dealin wit Super Macho Man's super spin punch BITD on Punch Out. Took me longer to master that guy than Tyson. And on the 1st Legend of Zelda for NES, it took a while for me to figure out you needed the ****in silver arrow to beat Gannon. And eventually findin the red ring helped too.

Yeah, the silver arrow is a staple of the arsenal you need to take out Ganon. I was disappointed they left them out in "Twilight Princess" but the 3 battles you have with Ganon in it are epic. Especially the final sword fight. (Won't post it, don't want to ruin it for ya')

Hitting him with the silver arrow in "A Link to the Past" was difficult as hell too. Prick kept warping everywhere, and turning off the lights. You had to light torches, hit him with your sword to stun him, and quickly follow up with the arrow afterwards.

"Sigma" from Megaman X was horribly hard as well. To get to him, you had to beat all of the 8 original bosses, back to back, on whatever health you had. Then a few sub bosses inbetween. Finally you get to Sigma, and he sicks his dog on you, then when you beat that, he's got a light saber, when you beat that, then he's a giant robot.

I could never beat him in the final form. I beat everything else up to him, including his dog and the light saber part. But goddamn he was difficult.

Not really. Even the team that made "Symphony of the Night" cannot replicate their success with any other title.

They worked on "Lament of Innocence" on the PS2, which was pretty damn good in my opinion (though not as great as SOTN). If you haven't played it you should check it out, it's the best 3D Castlevania ever created IMO.

(Though admittedly, there's not much competition on that front. All we have is Lament, Curse of Darkness, and that god awful Castlevania on the N64.)

That guy is hard as hell, don't let the video fool you. The guy playing is good and he has every weapon in the game maxed and all combos and stuff.

Just watching that video made me fire up my ps2 to play some dmc3, great game.

Yeah that guy was insane, the only way i beat him was using using knight of the round with the materia that makes you use it twice, then just use mimic with the other characters. Those were the good old days.

all god of war bosses are epic really well designed battles
the pyramid head was very easy once u figured it out
and i didnt have any troubles with the fury the one who was ****ing hard was the old guy with the sniper rifle

No game can beat this boss.

Sephiroth from Kingdom Hearts I and II. He's not a mandatory boss but a boss non the less and he's hard as ****.

im really surprised at how easy it is to beat sephiroth on FFVII CRISIS CORE for the PSP.....he is hard as hell in every other game he appears in......

i loved playing the bosses in KLONOA: DOOR TO PHANTOMILE FOR THE PS1

Final Fantasy Dissidia got some nice boss battles too.

Anyone who has played FFT should understand with just one word: Velius. The ultimate save game death trap.
