This is in my opinion the best song that Mos def was ever part of...Black on both sides was a really good cd but I never got into any of his other cds.

well thank you! my ego had yet to be fed today and it is ever so grateful. haha. really though. thanks. most guys think i'm a whackjob for loving hip hop as much as i do. or they are intimidated by it and don't really know how to handle it. the guy i am seeing right now doesn't even like hip hop...don't ask me how i landed myself in a situation like that!
when i go to shows i get a lot of questionable looks, like, oh this girl must be here cuz her man brought her. how mindblowing that a female may have even the slightest knowledge of hip hop! haha its all good though. i'm proof that they do exist!

and i now feel it most appropriate to quote the almighty Guru when he said..."Underground forever, baby! Never dying, always livin..."

I think its great, it shows your open minded. Most girls I know hate rap. My sister hates it and talks trash about me listening to it all the time...lol smh

puff daddy-no way out was my first cd but Harlem world was one of my first ones, I consider it to be a classic. Ma$e is real nice, hes got one of the best flows I ever heard and his lyrics are consistent. If he came back now I think he'd still be one of the best rappers in the game.

 That was one of the first songs I bumped too, I remember being in 4th grade having the cassette single with the instrumental on it. I kind of remember seeing the video for naughty by natures "hip hop hooray" when i was real young but I didnt get into hip hop until I was in 4th grade. You must have been in like 2nd or 3rd grade at that time, seeing as how Im 21 (soon to be 22 :)) and your 20....the first song that really got me into rap was this
