he has a cool flow and good punchlines
he often gets nice beats...

whats not to like? I guess the only thing i could think of is, he hasn't put a solo album out in a long time. but he has alot of mixtape stuff, and I think he has a solo album coming this year.

wow, Gold Mac. finally someone else who doesn't like Lupe. his dispassionate flow lulls me to sleep...anyways...

I think Joe Budden is sick, but it took me a really long time to give him a chance because of that silly banger that he dropped like 5 years back (or something like that), Pump It Up. it took a lot of convincing for me to actually grip a mixtape and listen with an open mind but once i did i was sold. i think that it may be a similar circumstance for others as well. its possible that their views were tainted by that track, too. who knows. either way though i agree. he is a very diverse and highly skilled MC. plus he makes hilarious youtube videos.

Nice to see another poster on here who doesnt like Lupegay...i liked his first cd but i think hes overrated, his flow is bad sometimes, his production was boring on the Cool, and overall the Cool was wack and can be described as a snoozefest. Can you get my back once the lupegay stans show up in this thread? They get mad real easily :laugh:

I'll be honest tho. Lupe's verses and flow on certain songs blow me away.

like on superstar, throw the chorus out the window and listen to the lyrics and flow. it give me chills. I think he has alot of talent, but doesn't always use it properly.

Ditto to Halfway House. Really high quality mixtape, no doubt.
And i really don't agree with people bashing Buddens because he has only dropped one legit album because I am just as happy when he drops a mixtape. I hardly even see the difference, honestly. it's all music to me, just another dope ass release.
