its not a real freestyle battle. its taking two freesyles and putting them against each other for fun.

Redman won IMO..! Better flow and he didn't use all lines from his tracks.

I think Redmans lyrics were a little bit better but as good as his flow was, X's was better in my opinion, and he put alot more energy into it. Much respect to both of them.

For the record, almost every freestyle is pre written. I dont know if X's was on his cd or if he spit it on BET first. Im gonna go with DMX but not by much.

I have yet to see anyone in the BET booth kick an actual off the top freestyle.


I guess it really depends on what your definition of freestyle is.

Some classify it as strictly off the top of the dome, as you go, improvisation.

Some classify it simply as a rhyme that has yet to be recorded or put on wax.


Most will use the latter, but I know as fans, a lot of people will hear freestyle and expect it to be 100% off top.

I got to with Mr. Mef. better punchlines and flow. IMO

That was kind of weak for Cassidy...I gotta go with Meth easily on this one. Cassidy is capable of puttin up far more of a battle then this, I gotta give a great punchline rapper his respect but Meth's freestyle was flawless. He brought it with the lyrics, punchlines, and flow.
