love that just another day track. Blu is easily one of my favorites. i dont even care that he's new. he's one of my ALL TIME faves.
i had that on repeat for TIME a few months back. he's on some very real **** in that moment. actually he is one of the most real. right up there with Murs and Brother Ali. i love that part about his ex - and her favorite line was "i be catchin *****es while *****es be catchin feelings" she don't want me trickin around, she idolize the lifestyle but don't want none of it goin down

no rapper has ever aproached that subject,none that i know of anyways. and there's no way that any male rapper would ever aproach it from that particular angle. and he is so right. as a female i bang tracks like that all time! there is something attractive about the improperness of it all i think. it is almost like a rebellion. i am going to give it more thought. i remember my ex asked me about that once. i was playing this Jaylib track called "Nowadayz" and it starts off with something like, i just wana lay you back, you ain't gotta count my stack, nahhh it ain't goin down like that, damn your ass is fat. i just wana hit it, quit it if it's on like that, never ever have to call you back. he was like, why do you listen to this? doesn't this offend you? and don't get me wrong, my ex was just as into hip hop as i am and far more knowledgeable about it than i am, and it's not that he didn't like the track, he just didn't understand why i did. and he has a point. why do i?
