I was completely ****ing manhandled. Its 9 hours later and I'm still feeling strange from getting slammed in my first match.

I got armbarred and the other match I tapped out from something that probably isn't even a submission.

I compete again on March 13 ( i might actually go to class and train for this tournament )

dude, i thought i was when i first got there.

we showed up about 2 hours late, we didn't get to warm up or anything and i had a terrible boiling stomach, it eventually went away. my division was called to compete really soon after i got there.

play by play of my first match, no-gi:

guy shoots in for a single, i sprawl. he shoots in for another single leg, i sprawl again. i don't know what happens now, except i'm probably waist high in the air and get the **** slammed out of me. the referee stops it and makes and warns him and keeps asking me if i'm okay. i say i'm okay and we continue. he shoots in and i get half guard i think, he starts to pass and for god knows what reason i turn my back and turtle up.
everything is going okay because he can't get hooks then the next thing i know my elbow is being hyperextended. i'm fairly sure i could have escaped if i knew what i was doing but i tapped out.

second match, this is a gi match:
we're standing around and i'm near my opponent, i hear him talking about how he has wrestled for 13 years and finished 7th in the nationals. match starts, i grab his collar and he grabs mine, it looked like a judo match for awhile. probably a little over a minute i go for i guess what is called an inside trip, i'm about to get it and i get ****ing cracked in the mouth by the guy's head. i go down like a bag of dirt because i'm a ***** and he kind of has sidemount but i get back to guard. i don't really know what happens here either but again i'm in turtle position. i can hear like 4 people yelling instructinos to this guy so i basically defend everything he tries to do for awhile. the ref keeps yelling for us to do something or he'll stand us up, i'm bleeding from my lip. he has one hook but can't get the other(doesn't get points until he gets both). he gets one arm under my throat but there's no pressure, it probably would have turned out to be one if he kept working because i was doing nothing at all. i tapped out. i shook his hand and walked away nursing my wound. got dressed, got my free competitors prizes, went home.

i think i could have done a little better if i had someone coaching me. i got owned but atleast it wasn't by bums, i know the guy who owned me in no-gi won 1st in the division. i left pretty soon after i got ****ed up by the second guy but i saw him beat one other guy before i left.
