right at the top of my wrist. when i flex my wrist or move it toward me something always clicks. also hurts when i flex it. i know it comes from boxing because i began to feel it before i took a 2 week break. now im boxing again and its back. kinda feels like pain comin from the scaphoid or the styloid process of the radius. it prevented me from going to the gym today cuz it hurt. anybody ever have this or know what it could be?

i got something like that from throwing hooks with a slight bend in my wrist (which is not good)

yeah i read somewhere tht it can come from not aligning your wrist properly. how did yours play out? do you still get it?

I think I got the same thing today; I was fatigued towards the end of training and threw two sloppy hooks with a left and a right and my wrists have been sore since then. I'm just gonna ice it.

i did my wraps a little tighter and with more wrap around my wrist and i concentrated on punching with a completely straight wrist. now its fine.

I landed a right cross on my trainers head in March 08 that sprained my wrist, since then I have had pain and havent been able to throw the right hard despite going through rehab ect.

thats wassup. i been squeezing on a tennis ball and doing wrist curls. hopefully that will strengthen it.

well. the answer is here..

my wrists began clicking abotu a year ago from boxing and work...
i ignored it sayin **** my wrists n hands.. now i always have my right hand n wrist wrapped up , always ice it after training, and the clicking turned into a CRACKING, i have yet to xrays, i got them done when my rpoblem was just clicking and docters found nothing.. so it isnt a big serious problem. it will prolly lead to arthritis if ignored like mine

i get a lot of locking in my wrists and knuckles know, and thumb joint..
when it locks i keep cracking by rotating my wrists until i feel comfort. it developed into a pretty bad problem that bothers me everyday. left wrist, right wrist and hand.

my advice is dont let it get this bad. ice, wrap, and most importanlty, go see a docter n get some xrays

and always wrap ur hands with extreme care when hitting pads or hvybag. sponges or extra wraps come in handy to protect the knuckles.

hope i helped

and i jus read tha part sayin u been squeezign **** to strenthen it.. stop that for now cuz if its the problem i got, thats only gunna make it worse. ur wrists might need in need of rest / bandage wrap, which acts liek a cast almost makes it hard to move it. icing it b4 and after helps as well. its a solid treatment

Take some Universal Animal Flex, do a bit of research about it and you'll see nothing but positive results
