I'm seriously going to try to make it out there. I've never been to Vegas, ****, i've never been west of Tennessee. Is there any way I could make it out there and keep it under a grand?

you can usually get round trip airfare for under 400 bucks.
Then just pick a decent lower rate hotel under 100 a night and spend the weekend :)
