Sankei Sports reported on Wednesday that Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic is a free agent and can fight in any promotion he wants to. The two big targets for Filipovic in '04 appear to be Mike Tyson and Bob Sapp.

Tyson vs. Mirko would be high entertainment.

Tyson would get raped

In a K-1 match, Cro Cop would definitely give Mike problems. In a pure boxing match, Tyson would be fathering a Croatian child.

Leg kicks are a totaly different ball game. Ever been poked in the same spot over and over again? Now imagine a top level k-1 fighter who kicks like a mule hitting you in a large nerve in your leg.

Two solid leg kicks can drop someone that isn't used to taking them.

Pedro Rizzo rocked Randy Couture with two leg kicks in thier first fight and nearly TKOed him with them.

Randy has fought in MMA for awhile including fighting Mo Smith.

Tyson has never taken a leg kick in his life and I doubt he knows how to properly defend against them.

I agree wholeheartedly. Never underestimate the leg kicks. I doubt, however, that Tyson version 2004 would be willing to change his style just for a K-1 match. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. It might cost him if he ever fought CroCop.
Against Sapp, I really wouldn't worry about the leg kicks at all. In fact, why bother calling it a kickboxing match? They should just make it a pure boxing match, which is what it's going to be for one minute.

Tyson can defend leg kicks...he catches your leg and gnaw's on your toes
