I’m hooked to A&E and History Channel documentaries and specials. All of the little meaningless and pointless shows I usually don’t waist my time with. When I watch T.V. I want to walk away with some information gained that I didn’t know before. Besides, reality shows usually have trashy pieces-of-**** types of people anyways. Not going to waist my time with that ****.

Cold Case Files rock so hard core. Invisible blood trails, hair that the killer ripped out of the victim lying on the floor, skin under the nails, bullet and stab entry wounds, the list goes on. All very intriguing. Most killers are too damn stupid to actually get away with it. However, Cold Case does intrigue when they can unravel an elaborate plan that’s weaved by an exceptional killer.

Yeah, a few episodes were not that good, but a few were very good. The episode when Tony kills Ralph was one of my favorites.

Thats why I watch CSI. TO find out what not to do in case I ever need to take someone out. I must have been thinking about a different show than the one you guys are talking about. Cold Case sounds pretty good.

I love reality TV. Simple Life, My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance, some of the **** is pure genius. I could do without American Idol and the Bachelor though, can't stand those two.

It comes on A & E. Its about cases that were left unsolved like
20 +years ago, and then some tiny piece of evidence comes up with new leads..

The bad thing about behind the music now is it's featuring people like Justin, Christina and Brittany. Give me a ****ing break, I want John Bonham and Jimi Hendrix, rock legends, not pop morons.

You wanna know what's real? This is real:

- The first genetically modified humans have already been born.
- Hitler’s blood relatives are living in the U.S.

- The CIA commits over 100,000 serious crimes per year.

- The U.S. planned to explode an atomic bomb on the moon.

- An atomic bomb was dropped on North Carolina.

- The main hero of the movie Black Hawk Down is a convicted child molester.

- One of the Popes Wrote an Erotic Book

- Kent State wasn’t the only massacre of U.S. college students during the Vietnam era.

- Many of the Pioneering Feminists Opposed Abortion

- The World's Museums Contain Innumerable Fakes

- The Government Can Take Your House and Land, Then Sell Them to Private Corporations

- Carl Sagan Was an Avid Pot-Smoker

- The Suicide Rate Is Highest Among the Elderly

how do you know for a solid fact that the CIA commits over 100,000 crimes per year?

The Mouse

Don't worry 'bout it, I got my sources. I here things, I here things. As a guy in the mafia once said, "a little bird told me, that's all I can tell you." :noangel:

Purity

The Mouse

They are facts.. look at the reference section, the list of authors, sources of information for their columns. They are facts, son.

Purity

Purity
01-07-2004, 01:35 PM
russ kick writes a book called 50 Things You're Not Supposed to Know About. in it he claims the 100,000 crimes by the CIA thing. he also "makes it clear that his evidence is supported by documentation and hours of research."

so until you read the book, verify the "documentation", and also document what actually constitutes a "serious crime" then it still remains a theory- not a law, which is a fact.

**** ‘Reality TV’

It’s a waste of time. I hate it with EVERY fiber of my being. The fact that people are abscessed with ‘Reality TV’, shoooows you how ****ed up the world has gotten. I’d rather have my scrotum hit with Barry Bonds bat than watch more than 1 hour of that reality crap.

Ill admit it…I use to watch a lil “Real World’ here and there….but even that show has been ****ed over by this HUGE genre….before REAL WORLD was a 6 week show…now its about 3 years per season. They stretch the hell out of it. WHY? Because EVERYBODY LOVES REALITY TV…Well I don’t.

I remember great shows like ‘Married with Children’ ‘Three’s Company, and the greatest show ever ‘The Simpsons’

But those shows take a lot of money to make compared to a Reality show…For a Reality show all you need is to find a 20 something attention whore with good looks…

No writers
No actor pay
Which means a fast cheap product with huge ratings

Well this all I got to say…

Big Brother, suck a nut
Survivor, suck a nut
Real World, suck a nut
Temptation Island, suck a nut
Cupid, Suck a nut
American Idol, suck a nut
Joe Millionaire, suck a nut
Queer eye for the straight guy, suck a…ummmm…uhhhh…go eat cooter

I’m done, ANYBODY up for a game of Jenga?

Purity
01-08-2004, 01:21 AM
i hate jenga. i got enough stress in my life so the last thing i need to worry about is making some pointless pile of sticks stand up while i constantly whittle away the structure.

people who enjoy playing jenga need some real problems. i say throw em in jail a few months, have em witness their dog getting mowed over by a car, or make em decide WHICH items are the most important to save as they rush into their burning home. **** jenga, jenga SUCKS.

i despise reality shows because they insult my intelligence by assuming that i'll believe that reality is a cluster**** of the most unrealistic people thrown together solving problems that aren't really problems by creating solutions that aren't really solutions but just rating-generated methods of actually making the unrealistic problem a realistic skirmish that dwindles my brain cells away every second that my attention span curses itself by not clicking the OFF button on the remote.

how about some connect 4?
