Do you shower at your gym after a work out? And this might be a boxing gym or a regular weights and cardio gym.

Only reason i ask this is that i don't as they have 3 cubicle showers with 1 curtain around the facility. So you have to walk in and take a shower naked while others watch you. Id rather take a change of clothes and then shower at home in complete privacy.

I have been to this one gym that had super clean facilities and had 5 shower cubicles. I always took a shower here.

The gym i go to now has dirty showers. There is mildew everywhere and no privacy, i feel like its a prison shower. I just go into the shower and quickly let the water wash away all the sweat off me then go home and take a good shower.

yeah thats cool.. i would shower if it was private.. but the fact that its a communal shower really does irritate me.

i go home and shower.....my gym don't have a shower cuz its small....

but i think i'd just go home and shower before i do anything else for the day

I don't shower at the boxing gym because there is no shower. At the regular cardio/weights gym it depends. They have about 12 individual stall showers with curtains and I will sometimes take a shower there. If I'm going right home after the gym I'd prefer to shower at home, which I do. But if I have to go somewhere after working out like school, job, friends house, movies, food or w/e, I'll shower at the gym. The facilities are fairly clean, I just make sure I wear sandals in the shower.

There is nothing wrong with using a communal shower in my opinion, I used to do it all the time when I was on a swim team. We all wore our trunks/speedos in the shower though, so it wasn't particularly akward. But even if you're naked, who cares, just don't look at anyone else, wash and leave. Everyone feels just as uncomfortable as you, so don't worry about it.

all you're doing is getting clean after you work out. everyone else in the shower is doing the same thing. no one is trying to sneak a peek at you. i'm not telling you what to do, just that it's not a big deal to use a communal shower.

i do shower because is my personal boxing gym and only my family goes in there... so i do

even if they had after my workout i pretty much end up crawling out of the place with no energy

just take a shower in swim shorts if it bothers u so much...i seen it done before..
