I don't think $pike can do better than HBO, 24/7 is the best show I've ever seen (except Calzaghe-Jones). Should be good though.

Back to the post, I think that it's an awesome idea. It's tough to have an original one these days, but I really enjoy watching 24/7 and getting to know the fighters/their camps. Hopefully the production value will rival that of 24/7.

I don't think $pike can do better than HBO, 24/7 is the best show I've ever seen (except Calzaghe-Jones). Should be good though.HBO has a great production crew no doubt. But I don't think SP*KE is involve in the production, UFC and Dana White have the final say on the final product.

The UFC has come a very long way with the quality of it's hype shows. The one for UFC 93 for instance is quite good, if anyone wants to see it, it's available at UFC.com (http://www.ufc.com/).

Yeah, GSP's in tremendous shape. The most impressive part are his powerful legs IMO, there are millions of build guys in the world but a lot of them don't even work on their legs. GSP most do like a million squats and lounges.

Its a big cut but nothing too extreme. Hes 185-186 fight night from what I read ...thats a pretty standard cut for the bigger guys in that class. Alves is the ridiculous cut.....over 190. He said he walks around 195-200

It was the usual hype it up bull you get from shows like this. Both HBO's 24/7 and UFC Countdown/Primetime are crap IMO. Alot of the story revolves around stuff that we don't need to know as fight fans with very little focus on the preparation and training. But alas that's where the UFC or HBO is trying to get more buyrates, by showing stuff that people from all walks of life can relate to you can increase the chances that they may spend their money to by the PPV. It's smart, but frustrating to watch.

It was decent....well produced.

I wish they just copied right off of 24/7

They did copy off 24/7. Whoever they hired to produce this used 24/7 as a blue print and the followed it almost to a T. The difference is 24/7 is still a better production.

thanx.....i thought i was very good.....what about penn still taking a mini vacation while gsp continous with his vigorous training.....i like both especially how penn destroyed sherk but im gonna have to go with gsp....penn has the skills but it all comes down to training and he's just not ever gonna be in tip top shape.......hopefully we get a fight for the ages but im expecting penn to fade late 2nd round and get stopped in the 3rd.....
