View Full Version : Tyson and Sapp - when Kempo Chris 01-05-2004, 03:39 PM Mike Tyson, swarmed by the Japanese press still in Hawaii, admitted that he thinks his fight with Bob Sapp will happen in Las Vegas in May or August. mmafanman 01-05-2004, 05:20 PM All this build-up and hype for a fight that'll last less than a minute? mmafanman 01-05-2004, 05:21 PM By the way, I wonder if they'll ask Sapp to piss in a cup if does happen in Vegas. I'd love to find out what he's on. Zen 01-05-2004, 05:44 PM He fought in Vegas about 6 months ago. Mr. Beelzebub 01-05-2004, 08:52 PM Bob has been clean for a while now. Remember that he fought Remy in K-1 USA and passed all testings done to him. This fight is gonna be shorter than the Black Rhyno one. realkaps 01-05-2004, 09:44 PM I say Sapp makes it thru the first ten seconds....... Fallout 01-05-2004, 11:36 PM If Sapp makes it thru the first round, he is 10x the kickboxer I think he is handjobs4dollars 01-06-2004, 12:13 AM Tyson by having way better cardio Fallout 01-06-2004, 12:20 AM Tyson by having talent, round 1 Whoremaster B 01-06-2004, 09:58 AM Tyson KO via uppercut. Tha Playa 01-06-2004, 10:29 AM I see Sapp trying to bull-rush in and Tyson landing a massive shot, probably and uppercut like Whoremaster said, and the fight will be over. DOGGx0 01-06-2004, 12:30 PM i know when they're fighting..... neener neener neener. :) btw... doesnt this belong in the stand up forum? mmafanman 01-06-2004, 12:38 PM I agree with the bull rush strategy. His best defense against Tyson is to rush in, tie his arms up and throw those meat hooks. If Sapp gives Tyson any space, he'll crack him and it's bye bye. Squezze 01-06-2004, 01:30 PM I'd like to see Sapp throw some low kicks. realkaps 01-06-2004, 09:29 PM Sanspo daily news confirmed that Mike Tyson vs. Bob Sapp will happen in May. The three areas being floated for the fight are New York, Los Angeles, Hawaii, and Las Vegas. Given the heavy Japanese involvement, Hawaii clearly is the top place to run the fight, then Las Vegas, with New York a distant third. Also, a Sapp/Akebono re-match is expected and K-1 is trying to get Akebono vs. George Foreman in an undercard fight for the Tyson/Sapp bout. DOGGx0 01-07-2004, 01:33 PM bastard |
