ps3 is ownig 360 now.

Games was 360 when it first came out but now ps3 is killing it in exclusives. Graphics Ps3 but both are about the same online. Ps3 is free to use online. 360 is £30 a year online. (no matter what anyone said, the servers are about the same.

If i was you I would but the 80gb ps3.

Played fifa 09, It's pretty good, similar gameplay to the other fifas, few minor changes, great graphics. I'm more of a pro evolution player though.

How is the new pro evo on playstation 3

IMO it's better, I like the pace of the game, it seems much smoother and more realistic to me, it just has more of that arcade feeling when I'm playing it. But it's all based on preference you know, my friend thinks the opposite.

PS3 online is free right???

Once your in the games its about the same, but 360 has better features for getting into games, messaging and connecting to friends.

But keeping it short.......I have and will recommend a PS3 over a 360 to family and friends.

I am a big gamer...I'm not saying this to slam anyone's system but I feel PS3 is the much better system as a whole..But the xbox 360 has had a better library of games from day 1 and its alot cheaper. Both systems are great. Ps3 has alot more games now than what they had. I have owned both and my son owns a 360 himself right now. I would say the ps3.Another thing that sells alot of people on the PS3 is the blu-ray. You get a built in blu-ray movie player also.You should try them both to see what is more suited for you. They both have there pro's and cons.Good luck...Dont get me wrong the xbox 360 is a great system and more people have them.

The ps3 online is great and its free..And the 360 does not stomp the ps3 in any way...this is funny the ps3 is a much bigger better system..but the xbox has huge library of games and is cheaper..

get a 360 they can be flashed to play backups. ps3 cant do ****

Want it to fly? I've owned both systems and its the same****, aside the marketplace and its innovation. Other than that... The internet is the same. Things that are diffrent are the exclusive, along with Sony's own exclusives.

Many people own 360's cause its cheaper.. You want your moneys worth, then get a PS3. As for titles, 360 does have more, but nothing going crazy for.

People want to talk about systems then buy a PS3. If you buy a 360, then you have to buy a WIFI adapter if you wish to play online wirelessly, also a recharger pack, and pay for live.

Save up like 80+ dollars and you can get a PS3. Like honestly.... If the PS3 was a bit cheaper, people would get it.. Like I said.. PS3 is for big boys. 360 markets thier systems and games good. Why? When you watch a multiplatform game commercial.. What logo do you see? XBOX360..

Cheaper will sell. Look at the Wii, and that system is by far next generation. Its because kids want to play it, and parents will buy them.

IMO, although I don't own an Xbox360 I would recommend a PS3 since I own one and I go by what I've seen from Xbox. Graphics are similar but maybe the very slight advantage to xbox360. The xbox360 used to have more games but PS3 is catching up. Plus PS3 has much more (than before) and much better exclusive games. Online multi-player I can only recommend PS3 based on the fact that I have it and I enjoy the online very much. People say xbox's online is much better but how much better can it get?

You're still playing with another human being so there's not much difference in that aspect except that you need to pay annually for the xbox live subscription but PS3's online is built in free and all you need is an ethernet cable ofcourse unless you have a wireless router. PS3's has a built in blu-ray which some buy just because you get more from a PS3 with a built in blu-ray player than buying a blu-ray player alone. PS3 has free online web browsing which can come very handy if your computer should ever break down and you don't have internet access from a computer nearby. I was actually using this feature for a long time when my computer had broken a while ago. As for price, xbox360 has reduced its price significantly and PS3 hasn't reduced it as much because of how much they have lost on it. As for reliability, it's definitely a PS3 after the RROD with the xbox 360 a while back. Overall, I'd say get a PS3. It has better features, blu-ray and the more exclusive games with free online multiplayer. But I'm sure if you get an xbox 360, it won't be that bad but a PS3 is better...

Neither, buy a Nintendo Wii. The Wii is new, fresh, and interactive. It is the next step in the evolution of the video game console.

The PS3 is just the PS2 on steriods. XBOX 360 is just the XBOX on crack. The only difference between this generation is better graphics, more memory, more expensive games, longer games and the PS3 plays blu-ray, 360 HD-DVD(obselete). That is pretty much it. It is the same thumb pounding motion as the previous generations.

Just wait until the next generation but, don't be surprised if it is just like the Nintendo Wii with better graphics and better interaction. Unlike the Nintendo Wii, the PS3 and XBOX 360 are only slightly more Innovative than its previous generations, in my own opinion.

If you don't like the Wii, then wait, its a tough choice and it might be too late to buy a console. Just let the market decide for you. You don't want to get stuck with the next "Sega Saturn, Turbo Grafix, Gamecube, or Jaguar."

The only thing xbox has is live(which is only prettier looking, and is slightly more reliable, with a few more features for inviting other players to a game and whatnot.....pretty much useless stuff....not worth the extra buck IMO, but certainly not that expensive.....but consdering 360 is supposed to be the cheap console...) and the price....(of course once you get the cheap model, you realise a hard drive is a thing youd like to have.......and that if you want wireless, you have to fork another 60 bucks...)....the only reason people think Xbox has better games is because all them americans play is shooters......HALO and Gears.....(and Halo is more hype than substance IMO...Gears is great....)........

LITTLE BIG PLANET....lesser known franchises that received great critical acclaim????UNCHARTED 1 AND 2(platformer-3rd person shooter), RESISTANCE 1 AND 2(FPS)......online experience??????60 PLAYER DEATH MATCH IN RESISTANCE 2(generally regarded as the best online experience) and the promise of a 250 player deathmatch in the forthcoming MAG......... RPG'S??????Final Fnatasy XIII is multiplatform, but Final Fantasy XIII VERSUS remains exclusive...

I just wanted to give the short answer. I've given the longer one before with the pros and cons of each system.

I just want to clarify as I stated before on other threads that the PS3 doesn't have fewer real games. There are a years worth of old games you could buy for the 360 which had a years head start but who the hell really wants those?

99% of all games are multiplatform and are going to be on both. The exclusives are a very very very small portion of games. Madden and all EA sports games, Call of Duty(s), RainbowSix and all of the Clancy games. Both systems have only a handful of exclusives worth a damn to anyone.

Cost difference is also negligible IF your planning on playing online.
