All the potential match ups I see with Silva are off. Silva will only fight LHW at Dana's request but does not want to seriously contend for the LHW title because Machida his training partner is in that division and he said he's leaving that division for him.

He can't match up physically with the LHW's, even if he is naturally 210lbs or so. He doesn't have the physicality to hang with guys like Rampage, Forrest, or Evans.
Co-signs...
And honestly? I don't think he's as skilled as them. He's an ok stand up fighter in a division with a bunch of sloppy guys and grapplers who try to strike. I think Rampage would tear him apart standing, and possibly Evans if he keeps improving.

I tend to agree. His weight class is among the weakest in UFC far as overall top to bottem. The top guys at Light Heavyweight imo would beat him including Forrest, Rashad, Rampage, Machida, and possibly a few others. I actually think Hendo could of beat em at 205

Honestly, if Hendo wasn't as confident in his stand up - he probably would have beaten Anderson. He needed to stick with the gameplan, and he didn't.
I really don't believe Anderson got -that- good in 2 years time. You just don't go from losing to Takase and Chonan to becoming a P4P top fighter in that time period at that age.
I mean really, the guy hits his prime at 33 after being bleh? He's older than Nog, Wand, Fedor, etc...
YUHHHHHHH!

Hitting your prime happens differently to different people, but I do believe that Anderson would not fair very well at 205 aside from a few underdogs. And I don't even know about that, what do you think would happen if he had to fight someone like Melvin Manhoef? Decapitation IMO.

Either Melvin would KO him within the first few minutes, or Silva would win via submission later on.
