Hey, Thinking about getting one of the BOB bodys, But was wondering if anyone here had used them before or even owned one? They look cool but i was just checking out videos of people using them on youtube and they look like the base moves around a lot, I need it to be secure.

So what are your opinions on it?

why not just get a 100lb punching bag. I know at academy sports and outdoors those body opponent is like $200 and a everlast 100 lb bag is like $90 but you can sometimes get em on sale for $60

but if you absolutely have to have one i would get one like this http://store.titleboxing.com/titleboxing-body-opponent-xl.html
instead of one that only has the upper body.

Thats the problem really, Im in the UK and cant find any leather punchbags over 100lbs for a decent price, Thats why the BoB is the next best thing. The punchbags are well overpriced.

Actually saw a UFC Punchbag that weighs 100lb and was actually nicely priced, Its the vinly i'm worried about. This is the one http://www.sugarrays.co.uk/shop/ufc-mma-training-bag.html

Im a big guy so i need something that can take a whallop without flying about all over the place.

We have one at my gym and it's not all that, it's mostly for the kids. If you have any kind of power you will destroy that thing in a couple of weeks, the rubber will crack and the base is not heavy enough.

We've got one at my gym. We have a couple 45 pound plates attached to the base to give it some more support so it doesn't fall over.

I never use it though, prefer a regular heavy bag. Like equilibrium said, it seems to be something that kids like to use more.
