2.Yay for Leko, I hope he wins the GP this next year. He's awesome.
Fallout 12-31-2003, 10:56 AM Lyoto is apparently Inoki's new golden boy. He knew something we didn't.....until now at least
Lyoto Machida is son of a japanese father, brazilian mother, born and raised in brazil. he joined the Inoki Army this year

Yes he is the man, him and Carlos Newton should start a team or school together in Canada.

i dunno what just happened to me.
i read this and i seriously got nauseous. like i like i was gonna puke. and not of sickness but of fear.
the thought of one of the coolest guy i know taking soccer kicks...man just typing that i was gettin queezy.
I unfortunately cannot say i would have been surprised either way.
Din was out weighed by 40 lbs by a great fighter so for him to lose was a definate possibility.
then again Din is a great fighter aswell for him to of won i wouldn't have been surprised at all.
VulgarTheClown 12-31-2003, 01:00 PM are there any picsof the Din fight?
Fallout 12-31-2003, 02:02 PM Din was facing a good fighter than had a lot of weight on him. Amar is a HUGE 185 lb fighter and Thomas is a 155 lb fighter. Giving up 30 lbs just isn't realistic in MMA anymore

this is very true
Fallout 01-01-2004, 11:52 AM I am sure Thomas came in close to 170, but Amar also cuts down to 185 from around 200 lbs.
What was Din thinking talking that fight?
VulgarTheClown 01-01-2004, 05:41 PM din weighed in at 163
the other dude weighed in at 185 and was roughlt 200 at fight time.
as for what he was thinking i dunno i'm not him.
but as someone on the UG said. Its a win win situation for him.
If he won he would have been like "the giant killer"
if he lost he has huge balls and is a pimp for stepping up
that nad from what they say on the UG it was quite the pay day (i dunno personally i do not put my nose in other people's **** like that)
Lei Tong 01-01-2004, 08:17 PM Actually, Suloev is probably closer to 193 (the weight he fought Chuck Liddell), which is roughly Bustamante/ Kondo size.
Still a big size difference, though.

not to mention that Suloev has won 3 six man tournaments and 2
eight man wons and has fought a ****load of fights. Stack that with 40 extra pounds and there you have it. Not a big blemish on Din he came in as a heavy underdog.
Carlao 01-02-2004, 10:40 AM Din wil be fine Amar outweight Din for over 25lbs.
Sometimes when you do not do what you want but what you have to. One day when some of you guys make it to the big show will understand that to take it to the next level you have to make that call.
