Nakamura's side protested the referee stoppage, which they thought was unfair. After the knee kick, Nakamura got straight back up, but the referee stopped the fight. Immediately, there was outrage, with Director Uei and others furious. They sent protests to K-1, and demanded it be looked at. As of this minute, the match is "no result", and the sponsors are deliberating. Many feel K-1 was "protecting their investment" and the referee stopped the fight prematurely.

Is this what we want to see? A giant slob with no MMA experience taking on one of our most talented lightweight fighters? Do we want to see this fight for the same reasons PTI and other media outlets have dumped on our sport? I say no.

I am calling on all MMA fans to boycot this event. Do NOT order it, do not discuss it. The only way we are going to shake this image that the media has of us is to NOT go down this road, even if it is just a quick peek. Do not order this fight, and e-mail K-1 for booking such a travisity of a fight. Do not stand for this!

I will admit it, I am shocked he won. I didn't think he would be able to 1) get a man twice his size to the mat 2) put any kind of submission onto the tree trunks Butterbean has for limbs

I can't believe Sudo beat the fatass, but I love it. Still, I agree with Creed and don't think this fight should have happened.

Is Botha a steaming pantload or what? K-1 gave the wrong pro boxer a contract. They should've been looking harder. First, that pansy Abidi ****ing owns him and then Fujimoto does the same. I doubt we'll see the White Buffalo around after his contract runs out.
I didn't catch the Ignashov match. I wonder how he'll make out in MMA? I always thought he was a ****ing wrecking machine. I just hope he takes his ground training seriously, because obviously, he'll need a lot of work.
Sudo is my hero. That is all.
