Which was the better song ?

I'll take Dead Pres, i just like the instrumental better.
State of mind is one of Nas best solo songs but i'd still take 'Streets of NY *mix*' with Rakim and Keys over it too.

i am usually in favor of Nas but in this case i'm going to have to go with Jay-Z. whenever i find myself doubting Jay-Z this track brings me back to reality. easily one of the best tracks of Hov's career. his flow on this is better than flawless.

Very close....I think i like the ny state of mind pt 2 beat better then pt 1, although he doesnt kill part 2 lyrically like he did on part 1. But then you got dead presidents part 2....not as lyrical as part 1 but his flow was better on part 2 in my opinion. Oh **** i cant answer this :o

You know what I listen to NY pt. 2 a lot. So I'll go with it. However, I haven't given DP pt.2 a lot of run. So I'll bump both for a while and comeback with a more definitive answer.

you Know I think both of them is not as good as their original, but every time I hear Verse 1 on ny state of mind 2 I kinda lean that way, It's just that good
