Post your thoughts on Bob Sapp.


My thoughts
I think he is just a spectacle.
I do not consider him a true fighter.
He is good and bad for the sport.
He is good in the way that he gets attention to the sport.
He is bad because he is like a pro wrestler and lacks much skill.

If he leaves the theatre that he does perhaps I would see him like a fighter. But now I see him like a pure show....

HE should stay the **** away from k-1, that's all.

I like to see him get beat up.

My hatred for bob sapp increases every day when friends that don't even follow the sport think bob sapp would kill anyone.

I've gotten this from a couple of people here at work who are ill informed.

If Bob Trained he could be really dangerous, but the Japs got him running in circles most of the time, he never really has time to train properly, and will continue to get beat on by smaller, more skilled fighters.....

he's entaining. entertainment is what draws interest to anything. if it draws more attention to mma then i'm all for it.

for show. Just like some NBa players before who were tall but had very limited mobility

He's what a football player would be in MMA. Huge, great athlete, but like using strength vs. technique in BJJ it can only take you so far. He won't ruin the sport so I'm all for him. I do love seeing him get his ass kicked though.
