I Think Prime Foreman would have Beat Prime Larry by KO in first 2 rounds, But old Vs Old i give to larry by points

Holmes was a fat old man when he lost to Tyson.

I would give a prime Holmes a great chance of outboxing George Foreman.

Foreman did not do so great when he had to fight skilled movers such as Ali, Jimmy Young and Gregorio Peralta. Norton never did well backing up and Frazier didn't know the meaning of backing up.

It must be said that Foreman was great at cutting off the ring, all of those three were actually having their best moments while countering off the ropes.

It was hard to chase a prime Holmes around the ring though, he had a great jab and could keep up foot movement for 15 rounds.
A 32-year old Ali didn't have the legs to move around the ring like he used to which is why he had to use the rope-a-dope.

I can see Holmes getting caught and stopped, he did have a bad habit of leaving his hands low and he often traded punches with punchers such as Shavers, Witherspoon and Norton. Definitely not a good idea against Foreman.

Even with his remarkable recovering abilities, he would find it much harder to survive against a prime George Foreman than a gassed out Shavers or an inexperienced Renaldo Snipes.

Not the same thing. First off, Larry was past his prime at that point, although still a pretty good fight, but no longer great. Furthermore, there is a reason that Tyson was the only man to knock out Larry, Cus had been preparing him since he was an amatuer to beat Holmes, they had been studying him for years and years because they expected him to still be champ by the time Tyson would be contending for the title. That wouldn't have been the case with George, in fact it would have been the other way around, Larry was looking forward to fighting George for a long time, remember that it was he that helped Ali prepare to defeat George so he already had insight into how to beat him. Now add the fact that skilled boxers gave Foreman trouble and I think you have your answer as to who would win.

this would have been a classic fight to watch!

I would have to heavily favor Holmes by late stoppage.

Holmes has the mobility, defense, stamina, and counter punching ability to frustrate and weardown Foreman as much if not more than Ali, Young, or even Lye. Holmes wasn't impossible to tag, but I just can't see the effective but crude Foreman scoring with the big punches he needs to put a fighter this durable and smart away. Holmes had his most trouble against the powerful accurate jab of Weaver, the constant pressure of Norton, and later in his career Spinks' frustrating style. It tooks Shavers something like 20+ rounds to surprise Holmes with a sneaky right and really hurt him, I don't like Foreman's odds.

Very funny, homles mentions foreman ALOT at the end of the video, and makes comments about his whole "marciano couldnt carry his jockstrap". But on topic, prime vs. prime larry holmes would of won, he was mobile enough and had a good enough chin to win. Foreman wouldnt last 15 rounds against holmes, likely quitting or getting beaten by exhaustion again.

Prime against prime or even in the 90s I think Foreman stops him.
