Not much action in the first round so if you're bored quickly might wanna skip that one. Some pointers would be greatly appreciated. I'm the southpaw in the yellow-ish shirt btw.

how long have you been boxing? you have a fast jab. it looked like you were reaching alot and swinging wild on some of your lefts. also in the third round when you were backing up u were dropping your hands. great job though you for your first fight

You won right? Why was the ref stopping the fight any time somebody landed a punch?
Well you did very well for your first fight. You have a decent jab, you should use it more it looked to me like you only used it to check your distance. You should use it to score points, you are tall and have long arms.
Your straight left is great, but that long looping left/left hook you threw a few times looked awkward to me. Sometimes you swing wildly but that just shows you want to hit your opponent atleast.
Lastly you crossed your feets a couple of times, but thats mostly because your stance isn't wide enough, sometimes your feet were in the same line, thats not too great for balance. Know what i mean?
Anyway, good work, keep it up man.

You're right. I couldn't get off very well with my left, and therefore was unable to get in some combinations. I've been boxing for about a year, thanks for the constructive criticism :)

Overall, pretty good. Looks like you are struggling with turning your back a few times when the pressure is getting on. Don't do this! This is going to get you hurt for sure. I know it is an instinct deal...but you need to remain facing forward, and especially when getting hit. You are going to walk right into hard hooks and uppercuts and even shots behind the ear and back of head.
How much sparring have you done? Things like closing your eyes and turning will eventually get easier to manage over time.
Nice vid and first fight, and good luck.

You did good bro.
Your foot work is a little off. You got a nice jab coming in.
You need to work on your range a bit.
You also started getting a little bit wild.
Stay relaxed and fight with your head.
But other then that great fight man!

nice one mate, good first fight. you looked pretty composed out there, and you looked a little stronger and bigger than him, so that definitely helped your cause. Head movement was good for a first bout as well, i've had three and i dont move my head half as much as you do
Minor gripes: You jab with your chin in the air sometimes, but it looked pretty good other times especially when you dipped to the body and up again. You panicked a little when you buzzed him up in the second as well, you snapped his head back with the left then rushed in to try and finish. with a bit more experience you would have stood off him and picked up an extra few points there rather than rushing in and not really landing anything.
Other than that awesome job man, i assume you won that, so well done on your first win, hopefully you'll carry on uploading your bouts if their filmed and we can see your progress.
