Guile and Balrog, Ryu of course too. But i didnt play him much cause him and ken are the easiest characters to play.

I'm with you. I remember playing Street Fighter II in the pizza shop during lunch time when I was a kid.

With so many people picking Ken and Ryu they became predictable. I used everyone else (except Zangief and Dhalsim) it was like being a lefty in boxing. I had a slight edge because they use to not see them as much.

I could also change a character if I lost to best counter a player's style.

I was wicked nasty in this game and funny enough my hardest competition was against a guy who used Dhalsim.

Also Dee Jay, T Hawk, Fei Long, Cammy were not in SF 2 IIRC. They were only in other editions of the game i.e. Turbo....etc.

I liked being Zangief but I could never pull off his goddamn special moves. I think I did the "tornado piledriver" like twice in my entire life.

Balrog was also kinda cool. Lil' Mike Tyson clone.

Oh yeah, and since we're being honest here.....as a kid I used to like to be Cammy and win with her because in her pose she'd turn around and you could see her ass.

I remember when I got this game for my super nintendo... It was like the greatest arcade at the time on your own home console.. was a really great time back in early 90s.

Guile. I beat a gang of asian kids in the arcade with that mofo in what was probably my finest moment in video games.

I won't make another thread so ill use this one, what about street fighter 3 rd strike? I started playing that one again recently and i'm still pretty good. I think that one has some of the coolest characters in any Street fighter games ever.

Personally Sean is my favorite character, I like Akuma and dudley too. I'm trying to play with Yun but it's pretty hard.

Zangief is the only character who I've never seen used well when I was younger. I've seen good Balrog guys and some really good Dhalsim guys but never have I seen a good Zangief.

i could fight better wit ryu.............but i liked using balrog(vega for everyone outside of japan)

Vega was definitely up there, too. But once you learn how to claw your ass to the wall to dodge **** and then slam down for the counter, it was murder. Guys like Zangief, Dhalsim and Vega are hard to master, yeah.. But if you could get good with them, you'd be way better than the guys who used the easier characters.

Also, I think Guile was pretty hard to play with. Except for his sonic boom- forward, back, punch. Haha...
