Winter training is the worst. IMO. It's always cold. Sometimes you have to run in the rain. The sun sets too early it's hard to get the energy.

Cold, cold, cold. I have a difficult time getting the engine started in the winter.

When it's hot and sunny, *****. I can train for days. Plus, i get to take my shirt off. LOL.

i hate cold weather but still burns body fat cause your body has to work harder to maintain a 98.6 body temp.

I like winter more than summer (for training anyways).

You can always put more clothes on to get warm, and then take them off if you get too hot. In the summer there's not much you can do aside from drink and pour water on your head to cool off.

i just hate the cold weather cuz it takes too long to get warmed up, its like you have to work more to feel satisfied. hot weather is better for me.

To each his own i guess. I like the heat cus i don't have to wear layers apoun layers. The sun's out and i get more energy. Running in the winter time? Yuck!! That ***** stings when it's cold as fcuk outside.

I feel bad for the people who live in snow areas and have to train.

I love training in the winter. I can't be ****ed to train in the summer, when its so cold and humid. Just feel too sluggish.

Plus, when its so cold, training helps you keep your body warm. I heard that this famous Russian guy used to do loads of pushups to stay warm in jail. He got massive after a few months.

Stop complaining liek a *****hole! I have gone for a run in -3°C. Wear Skins underneath, with a sauna suit on top, wrap around a scarf and a hat on top of a ski mask. Top it all of with a good rainproof sports jacket. heating in the gym has broken down and sometime sit is colder than outside! It was -4 °C once and we still got on with training. It is cold by the sea in winter nights (10x colder than the days) and that is just the way it is. It is now 6°C in Marseille, and it is around 10-13 during days. You have to deal with it and just get on with life!

-3 degrees celcius is not cold. Anything warmer than -10 C should not stop anyone from going on a run.

Bear in midn that you are Russian, and -3°C is probably not out of the norm for you. In Marseille summers can go upto 40°C and daytime in winter is usually between 10 and 15, so that is extremely and UNUSUALLY cold for us! Lving next to the sea, one has to get use to changes between hot and cold from day and night during winter seasons which will make it harder. Even today, it was mild byut the sun was beating down on my face. The -3°C situations are rare and extreme for us, but I deal with it anyway.

I do agree with you on second part though, unless it is unbareable and you cannot wrap up against it, nothing should stop you from running. Sauna suits are dangerous in summer when it goes over 30, but handy for winter when it goes below 10! Lol @ 'warmer than -10'. I like the spirit! hope you are not using Voidka though, to keep zi cold out!

Yes it does. If you look at the map you will realise that Marseille is at the bottom of the country on the Mediterranean sea. France is quite big and we are miles away from cold Paris in the north! But even the towns on the coast of the English channel side of the country get quite sunny in summer. It is why they have so many vineyards. You do know Champagne is only made in northern France right? Everything else is merely sparkling wine!

When was I suppose to respond? Lol. I have no idea if you have a chin like Amir Khan. Get that neck harness weights thingy!

I like training in the winter better, but I don't like the winter weather because I bike to the gym. I don't mind it on most winter days, but on days like today where we just got hit with about a foot of snow in less than 12 hours it's impossible.

Thankfully I don't have to go to the gym tonight anyways because I have a fight tomorrow, and everything will be clear (enough) by monday. http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/images/icons/icon7.gif
