View Full Version : Holiday Eating
sukhenkoy 12-16-2008, 07:16 PM How many of you are going to eat like **** during these upcoming holidays?
I highly doubt I will, but if I do it will only be two days, tops. Last year I didn't, and it wasn't hard.
KostyaTszyu44 12-17-2008, 01:27 AM me lol
im on school holidays, i have a month off training, its been a week so far and ive eaten mostly crap and done no exercise besides walking and riding my bike
christmas will be great
ScottDBA 12-17-2008, 06:37 AM I will. Unfortunately, I've already somehow gained 2 lbs on my normal weight of aroun 155-157lbs in the past week without any changes to diet/exercise. :-(
So right now I'm trying to get as low as possible before Chritmas, because I have to be 152 the first week of February because I'm in a tournament.
January is going to suck.
Bretto2 12-17-2008, 07:29 AM i have been, you need a break you cant stay up for too long
plus the harder i work off my weight the fitter i get
ophqui 12-17-2008, 08:48 AM yeah, im eating like a pig and doing little to no exercise. I fought in a championships last week (and won), and im not fighting again until probably early feb, so im gonna treat myself and enjoy my xmas. i'll keep myself ticking over with a couple of runs a week, just because i enjoy running, but im gonna eat a stupid amount of food :D
alza1988 12-17-2008, 09:02 AM I'm just hoping to stay off the beer and selection boxes and I should be fine . I'll be doing a few conditioning circuits around Christmas just to be on the safe side .
Squabbles94806 12-17-2008, 09:36 AM OMG!! I don't even want to think about eating during the Holidays.
Just don't over eat.
Eric Holder 12-17-2008, 01:06 PM I haven't got to train in a while because of school
but now that I'm on vacation, I figure I'm gonna train enough that I can eat whatever I want over the holidays
YUHHHHHHH! 12-17-2008, 01:56 PM I understand that you guys are trying to be disciplined and ****, but you are sounding like a bunch of twinks right now. Stop being so girly and grab a ****ing plate, do some extra crunches in the morning. It's Christmas.

sukhenkoy 12-17-2008, 09:05 PM ^ Yeah I make weight easy too. Just a few tweaks in the diet, and working harder during my exercises.
of course i'l try to stay healthy, but its the holidays they happen once a yr and im not competing till March, so i'l hold off until all the christmas goodies come out since its the last yr i'l be living at home.
JulioCesaChavez 12-18-2008, 01:29 AM On Eid I had some Tagine with white French Bread, and a few fried spring rolls and sweet Moroccan biscuits. Plus I had lamb chops grilled with cous cous. Still made space for my fruits and veggies. Just be moderate, nobody said you HAVE to eat all the toher extra greasy food. Make a food poisoning excuse or tell them straight up like I do that super athletes do not grow on trees! If you have a small appetite, a bit of white bread and fried rolls shouldn't do **** all to you anyway. It is only a couple of days, and I assume people who find it difficult during festivities probably overeat in general. Get some ephedrine you fat cunts!
I've never been to no xmas dinner, so I cannot say how much better or worse that is compared to Eid. But roasted Turkey and bioled sprouts does not sound too bad to me. As for Xmas parties, i have been to them and there is no need to drink too much or overeat. Just SIP on drinks and bone the drunk hoes instead! As a fighter just be sensible in choosing the vices taht are more beneficial to you, lol.
