I have Chronic Tonsilitis and my tonsils are swollen to the size of like golf balls so im having a Tonsilectomy tomorrow morning...woohoo...

I've never had surgery before, actually pretty nervous. :( I learned something terribly interesting though....

now how gay is that??! no ice cream...i thought that was like the one benefit of having ur tonsils taken out...but noooooooo they tell me i can't have it. i hate doctors. i'm going on strike or something.

I haven't had any surgery either so am of no help here other than to say that you feel much better 3 days after it.

I have to get my wisdom teeth pulled out pretty soon.

getting my wisdom teeth pulled was awesome. just tell them to give you some Dimmerol and nitrous, u'll be set. i was giggling like crazy and then falling asleep when he was giving me the novacain shots.

Why can't you have ice cream? That's pretty ****ed up. I'm pretty sure I could have all the soft foods (including ice cream) that I wanted. It scabs over, so you don't want anything jagged or rough that'll tear up your throat.
When I had my wisdom teeth pulled, wow, that was insane. I started waking up when they were tying my stitches. They were jerking my head to the side and ****. It was cool since I couldn't feel anything. Now, I couldn't have ice cream or dairy for like 48 hours after that and I couldn't drink through a straw because of the stitches.
I think your doctor is ****ed up for telling you that you cannot have ice cream. What do you care anyway? You told me just the other day that you don't care that much for ice cream. Loser.

Regardless, hope all goes well. I'm going to try to go see you sometime this weekend.
