I would have to say I was surprised that they allowed Junie Browning to compete. I was as equally surprised if not more so by his performance. But on the main events kinda thought the Bader fight would go sorta that way. But the light weight main event between Nover and Escudero was a little bit of a surprise on the winner. I figured Nover would do better on the ground. If It would have stayed on there feet I figure Nover would have Edged it out. But good performance buy almost all of the fighters and looks like we will have some more exciting fights in the future.

yea, i think Junie's a loser but i was very impressed with his performance. especially that crazy pass in the first round (headstand thingy). Efrain showed some damn good fight sense. Anthony Johnson, beauty headkick. and Dave Kaplan is a crappy fighter but should get a hero cookie for that entrance

Yeah I forgot about Anthony Johnson. He impressed me when he fought last years semi finalist. Can't remember his nameTommy somthin he was the red headed dude from Iowa I think. He has awesome power with his punching when he gets more confidance and a better ground game he is gona be a real contender.

Junies best performance since tuf 8 began....by far.
showed why there was hype surrounding him, lunatik episodes aside.
philip nova [spelt?] never got into the fight really until halfway thru rd3,
i was suprised as where many others, didnt think efrain could fight the
same way he did in all the other fights against philippe but he pulled it off.

bader just got lucky imo......landed one of those shots that jolts ur neck
and then finished up impressively. wanted to see him pit his wrestling
against magalhaes' juijitsu lol

wilson gouvieas win was very impressive, altho marred by him not making weight.
jason mcdonald is a hard fighter to judge, sometimes hes awesome and
sometimes he ends up way out of his depth.

Jason McDonald makes me wonder. He has lost against all of his top 5 mma fights. He seems to have the ability just whatching his other fights but can't seem to get the job done against the top fighters. Not sure if he doesn't have what it takes or he can't take the pressure. Which I guess implies the first in a way. As far as Malgalhaes goes. To use your jujits it has to go to the ground and with Bader's wrestling skills he was able to dictate the fight and keep it where he wanted. Malgalhaes needs to work on somthing besides pulling gaurd to get it to the ground. Like maybe shoot more for the take down. Pull some doubles. He has the size and strength he should be able to even slam abit. I don't think we've seen the last of him by a long shot. Those are just a few things I think he needs to work on.

the other thing bout Bader's punch is where it hit Vinny, u have a lot nerves behind ur ear and it isn't really the best place to get hit (theres a pressure point there).

as for Jason McDonald, i agree with u guys^^, he's a conundrum. he just seems unable to make it to that next level and i think part of that is cos of his trainer. i used to be really good friends with his (trainer's) son and i was hella confused when i saw him in McDonald's corner when he first came to the UFC. McDonald has a lot of talent and i defo think that he should mix up his training

Its a shame, McDonald just isnt championship level. He has the tools but he just cant seem to get out of midcard fights
