Sometimes out of know where I start wondering what my last day on earth will be like. I wonder if I am going to die soon or when I am an old gray haired man. I wonder if it will be violent or peaceful.

A lot of times I just tell myself "Wow, one day your not going to be here"

Anyone else ever do that?

here's a better question, if you were given the chance to know the date and time of your death, would you want to know?

I don't know that I would. I tried writing out my reason for not wanting to know, but I'm not really sure how to explain it. Give me a few minutes. haha

I guess my reasoning as to why not would be something like this:

If I believed enough in destiny, that I would absolutely die on this particular day at this particular time, I wouldn't want to know for the simple fact that I could not change it. I don't like that feeling at all. I would rather live my life to the fullest because I love it, rather than live my life to fullest because I know when I am going to lose it.

I always thinking about others dying.

I think about dying sometimes. I would wan tto know when im going to die so I can make plans for it.

i think about dieing all the time

I wouldn't want to know, it would kill all the enjoyment in life

I thought about it more than usual lately because I've been having the worst asthma attacks of my life. I even considered going to the emergency room....went to a bar instead.

Actually, I have heard the pollens from this rain forest in the willamette valley have lots of allergens that trigger asthma. Still, I like it though, this place not the asthma attacks. Those suck.

I thought that they had a suppressive therapy for asthma instead of just the inhaler for attacks. Do you know anything about it?

No. Never heard of it. I never used to get attacks so all I have is an albuterol inhaler and clenbuterol tablets. I probably should see a Dr. about it, but I take off on my vacation tomorrow so I'm putting it off.

isn't an asthma attack like your windpipe literally swelling shut? and is there a short answer you can give me as to why it happens? Just curious.

Your bronchial tubes squeeze shut so no air can get into your lungs, in my case it's usually triggered by an allergen like cats, pollen, smoke or heavy pollution. My grampa actually died from an asthma attack when he was in his 40's..

so is it just your bodies way of keeping these things outta your lungs?

that must be some seriously scary ****, not being able to breath. **** man. That's like dying by slow suffocation.

Yeah, it's an awful feeling not being able to breathe. When I was a kid I got rushed to the emergency room every now and then. This week I've been taking those clen tabs in addition to my inhaler and it's working fairly well, but the clenbuterol makes me feel like I'm cranked out of my gourd. It sucks. I'm hoping a few weeks in Cali will clear my lungs up.

This is a good question, but since time is just a perception and not an objective fact all of us are already dead since the moment we were born. Have a nice Christmas everybody!

Hey whats up my Purity compadre right now Im having my vacation time; since I returned to the university, I dont have enough time to be on line but I really enjoy this place.

A few years ago, I had 4 good friends and my Grandfather all die within a few months of each other. I thought a bit about it then, but I also kind of rationalised that there is bugger all you can do about it so thinking about it is no big deal. And honestly, if I was to die tomorrow, it would affect maybe 3 people that would be sad, but eventually they would rationalise it and get on with their lives.

one day im not gonna be here in this political, messy society we built on stress and ill be a happy man cause i dont have to deal with all of it and i can relax

When I die, I want to go out peacefully in my sleep like my grandpa did, not screaming and yelling like everyone else in the car......
