also saddam is a prisoner of war, and is being held still in IRAQ. Not a prisoner of the USA .... or any specific country except his own. This is why they are looking to the world for a way forward for the trial.

I would imagine if he has a trial under international laws, he will get life 200 times over with no parole. if he is in the USA getting judged he will get the same. If he is in Iraq he will get death as i would imagine the judge in iraq would probably be appointed by bush and his gang who also wants him dead.

Saddam is a evil man yes, but i think leaving him in a cell for the rest of his natural life sounds more fitting then just letting him get away with it all in this life and sticking a needle in his arm so he can goto sleep.
