View Full Version : What is your Training Prep Routine?

I train at my gym 3 times a week. Unfortunately, I have a 9-5 to go to, and sometimes i don't get the proper nutrients / calories in body in time for training, which results in off days. Sometimes I'll get out late and end up rushing to the gym, without proper preparation.

what do you do to prep for training? do you have a particular food that you have to eat? a specific warm up? a particular mental exercise? what are your biggest challenges while training?

Regular Training Routine

I wake up @ 5:00am.
Work 6-2:30.
Get home at 4:00.
Vegetate for 30 minutes and drink a Rockstar.

Get to the gym at 5:30/5:45.
Train until 7:30.
Train/Teach Karate from 8-9.
Get home at 9:30

Eat dinner by 9:45
Vegetate for 30-40 minutes
Sleep at 11:00

Get up and do it again....and again....and again....

In preparation to training

I drink a gallon of water throughout the day
Eat lunch that will give me enough calories
Take a shiit at least twice a day to empty out my stomach
I shower before i go to the gym (work out with a clean body)
Drink a Jamba Juice after taining.
