I think Ward should be up there somewhere I mean the guy stands infront of people just to unload shots.

The best active brawler is Hatton. Yeh, he's unproven, yeh, he's green, but he's just plain fun to watch.

Brawler seems somewhat vague to me.

Best swarmers:

Joe Frazier
Jack Dempsey
Jake LaMotta
Harry Greb
Fighting Harada
Henry Armstrong

Best sluggers:

Rocky Marciano
George Foreman
Sandy Saddler

I'm not sure who was the best at it, but Greb was the greatest of the bunch in my opinion. My personal favorite was Joe Frazier, though.

Never seen him fight since there is no existing tapes, but according to folklore it was the Human Windmill - Harry Greb.

Its a tuff question, but I would say the best brawler in the last 25 years has to be Ray Olivera. He has been in countless none stop action fights throughout his career, and has thrown more punches, per fight, than any other fighter over that time span. He is a Compubox legend!!!

you have to say Gatti as a top 10, also like morales and barrera in their first fight, but they are more of a boxer type.
