GTA 4 recently came out on pc. I don't own a xbox 360 or ps3 but i have a kick ass gaming pc. So i figured i would do the same thing i do for every single player game: Download it and play it for free.

But well it's a 13 gig download and at this pace it will take 2 weeks to download it.

My question is simple, i know that the single player is the meat of the game like any GTA title. But is the multiplayer worth paying for?(In most cases you can't play the multiplayer part of the game when you pirate it.)

Online player really can get on your tits. You always have some cunt trying to kill you when you want to do something. The respawn point are terrible to. You find yourseld dead again straight after you have been respawned.

Just get COD world at war it owns GTA 4.

I think that the Free Mode online and Death Matches that span the entire city are badass. Not to mention the ****ing gem of the online matches, Cops and Crooks. If you have a good group of friends and meet some solid online acquaintances, you will find it hard to rival the fun that you'll have on Cops and Crooks.

Just buy the game.

If you go to gamestop you'll see how many used copies of 4 there are, and theres alot. The online isnt what it should of been and the single player missions arent varied at all, you get ALOT of chase this guy and kill him type missions.

Just like you can find many used copies of Gears of War 2, Halo 3, Fallout 3, Fable 2, Left 4 Dead, Crysis, Oblivion and every other game that has come out. Some people only play games for the campaign/story mode (Which is fine) and those are the people that trade games in.

But don't listen to me, I obviously don't know what I'm talking about. Let's learn from the pros?

Good, i just hope i'll be able to play it on max settings. Most likely since console games are usually less demanding than pc games.

I'll lose an arguement with what? just because they all gave it 10/10 score doesnt mean its the greatest game of all time, i dont really listen to reviewers anyway, they can be paid off or buy into the hype. Oh and all those other games you listed do have used copies yes, but gta4 has been traded in like crazy, i seen at least 50 used copies at my local gamestop.

Thats what I was expecting with this game, just like san andreas, that game is the best 3d gta so far. lol thats how much I bought my copy for, 30 dollars.

I'm installing it currently. Had to make a xbox live account to ****ing play online. Then i had to register to rockstar social club.

Well i got the game working fine and it's pretty damn badass. The only thing that annoys me is that the game doesn't have antialiasing(yet).

man, deathmatch online is so ****ing awesome. absolute mayhem, especially when the cops get involved.
