He says he's going to retire. Very sad news, Javi is one of my favorite fighters. Zen 12-12-2003, 09:51 PM Same knee. Serra/Vasquez would've been a great, great fight too. I hope he doesn't give up, but rehab, again, has got to be a real ***** to look forward too. Curly Howard 12-12-2003, 09:51 PM Yeah he told me he was going to if his knee gave out again. allmmafan21 12-12-2003, 10:12 PM Thats how it goes for the guys that work hard and fight... THey either dont get a shot or they get ****ed.. momita 12-12-2003, 11:32 PM From: JTMcCarthy Date: 12-Dec-03 07:36 PM Member Since: 23-May-02 1589 Total Posts It's unfortuneately very true. I just got off the phone with Javi and he was just leaving his doctor's office. This sucks ass cause I as were many other people, looking forward to seeing him against Serra in January. This couldn't have happened to a nicer guy in my opinion, but that's how it usually goes, it happens to the nice guys. I'm sure he'll be here to make an announcement when he gets everything in order. Take care guys, J.T. lightweight 12-12-2003, 11:54 PM Originally posted by Curly Howard **** GADDAMN MOTHER ****ING **** **** **** NO ****ING MOTHER ****ING WAY OH GOD NO ****!!!!!!!!!@ io;LRUADFJHHJNMNSSMNMSNSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSNUIUIUUIU x10 This is beyond the suck. He's my favorite lw fighter and it really blows that this is going to end his career. HockeyFighter 12-13-2003, 12:14 AM That really sucks. I can see him being done though. A guy can only take so much disappointment like that. If he is done then....*pours out a 40 on the street for his fallen homie* Camrawn 12-13-2003, 12:34 AM I think Sudo would be a good replacement for Javi. Hope Javi doesn't retire. TTT for Sudo/Serra! wondermut 12-13-2003, 11:54 AM Originally posted by Zen420 Same knee. I thought that was almost impossible being as they replace it with an ACL 3times the size. ****! |
