Sorry to say that Javier Vasquez has unfortunately torn his ACL again and will not be able to fight in the upcoming UFC.

He tore his acl again.
He says he's going to retire.

Very sad news, Javi is one of my favorite fighters.

Same knee. Serra/Vasquez would've been a great, great fight too. I hope he doesn't give up, but rehab, again, has got to be a real ***** to look forward too.

It's unfortuneately very true.
I just got off the phone with Javi and he was just leaving his doctor's office. This sucks ass cause I as were many other people, looking forward to seeing him against Serra in January.

This couldn't have happened to a nicer guy in my opinion, but that's how it usually goes, it happens to the nice guys. I'm sure he'll be here to make an announcement when he gets everything in order.

Take care guys,

J.T.

x10

This is beyond the suck. He's my favorite lw fighter and it really blows that this is going to end his career.

That really sucks. I can see him being done though. A guy can only take so much disappointment like that. If he is done then....*pours out a 40 on the street for his fallen homie*

I think Sudo would be a good replacement for Javi. Hope Javi doesn't retire.

TTT for Sudo/Serra!

Same knee.

I thought that was almost impossible being as they replace it with an ACL 3times the size. ****!
