Okay. I know a lot of you guys think Mundine will continue fighting cabbies for the rest of his life. E.G Danc (president of Australian boxing) and the rest of you pork chops. But its time to have a look at the WBA rankings. And realize its business time. The bout with Taylor allows him to hold mandatory with Taylor ranked 11th. Who gives a **** about that but.

So hes going back to Germany. Or it will be on an undercard in the US. Who wins this one? Haters!

mundine wins this fight easily, i actually give sturm very little chance
providing mundine is comfortable at 160

sturm by knockout, mundines reflexes are getting slower and slower and just like pittman, as soon as sturm realises mundine has nothing at middleweight he will walk right through him. Mundine maybe a natural super middle coming down, but i see him as a very weak middleweight.

i'll give u 50k points if this fight happens ult.

How can you be such an arrogant son of a ***** when you've been wrong so many times and we've been right.

Don't you have any pride? Worshipping someone who has made you look stupid so many times..

How can you be a mod when you don't visit the forum?

Is it me. Or are you stupid? Have a look at the WBA Middleweight rankings.

Oh no wait its just a ploy. Isn't it.

:bottle:

Like i said no ones happy about recent mismatches. But the guy has desire. And he will step it up. Bika has an offer there. Sturm will be bashed.

P.S Danc should be mod! Paul Briggs lover.

I'd be surprised if Mundine will ever fight at 160 TBH.

Should the fight be made I see Sturm outbox Mundine with his fantastic jab. In Germany this would be a clear UD for Sturm.

Yeah, as pretty much everyone has said Sturm beats Mundine I think. I think Anthony's career is well and truly on the way down. He hasn't looked good in the ring for a long time.

There we go, president of Australian boxing is at it again. As everyone as said. On behalf of Australian boxing, Sturm beats Mundine.

Danc, president, sir. Have a look at the poll, its reading 7 vs 6. One sided sir? I will let you get back to your many committments.

LOL, that was actually pretty funny.

I didn't look at the poll, I just read the responses. I only saw a couple of guys voting for Mundine.

I think a prime Mundine beats Sturm, but I think Mundine has diminished and would drop a decision.

Mundine is finished now, he's too old to have a real go now. He's missed the boat. He can keep on fighting bums for a few more years and after a while one will beat him.

Mundine should be proud, he has held the title of "KING OF THE BUMS" for such a long time. He can retire a complete fighter.

Mundine is far from finished. If he makes weight, he beats Sturm.

He should get back into some serious training for a serious fight.

Yeah look at the ratings you know Mundine always uses his position on the rankings to get the big fight.. no wait he gave up his position as champion just so he didn't have to fight a decent fighter.

He has desire? Christ he hasn't fought a credible opponent since 2006.

I would love to punch you in the face :)

We could get this organized. Make it PPV. Charge $50 a pop then MG. I like getting hit in the face. So were a good match.

On a serious note. Heard from a friend of the local cornerstore owner. Shannon Taylor vs Mundine will be for the WBA International title. And Sakio Bika is in serious negotiations for a bout at MW with the man.

Yep and that fight was the best SMW fight other then Calzaghe Kessler i have seen in the last 5 years. Also that was highly competitive. No matter what anyone says. I enjoyed that fight.

I enjoyed it to. I'm not sure how competitive it was though. When one guy isn't trying to win the fight I don't call it competitive.

Why are we so harsh. Kessler hit Mundine with a lot that night. He stayed up. My Danish friends have respect for Mundine. I guess its the convicts coming out in us all.

I didn't say Mundine didn't take a lot of punishment, just that he didn't try o win. He was boxing on the back foot and it clearly wasn't working. Instead of trying to get aggressive and change the direction of the fight in the second half he opted to continue to avoid exchanging with Kessler and appeared content with dropping a clear decision.

Beacause he didn't dig deep and try and turn the fight around.

Kessler didn't land anything real heavy flush on Mundine that night. Mundine didn't have enough heart to mix it with Kessler.

Couldn't agree more. I like how Mundine was under the impression that his efforts against Kessler that night qualified him as a warrior.

Mundine must know he's a stronger fighter at super middle but he's not game to back himself against the big hitters in that division. So he thinks he can drop to middle and give himself a better chance. WRONG ! These blokes aren't *****cats like the stiffs and turkeys that Mundine's been beating. I don't think there is a top 10 middle that Mundine can beat.

lol sturm takes a UD behind his jab

especially if the fights in germany

but this fight wont happen, mundine has his epic war with shannan taylor and then a few more fights with bums

i guarantee you mundine will waste '09, he will fight four times, and i will predict his opponents

.shannan taylor (obviously)
.danny green

and one or two more fighters of crazy kims calibre
