I think he is currently recovering from a hand injury. He wants a world title fight in 2009 but his plans to take on Alex Arthur for the WBO title were smashed when Nicky Cook beat him. Cook and Mitchell are apparently really good friends outside the ring so it's unlikely they will fight.

But he could go for the IBF.

He said before Cook / Arthur that if Cook won he will be fighting for the IBF title

I think the IBF route is most likely.

Warren doesn't seem to tread the WBC route at all, which is a shame.

Damn that sucks, i thinl he'd wipe the floor with Cook.

Yeah, Cook v Mitchell would be a very entertaining one and I see Mitchell winning. But they're really good friends so it won't happen.
